Problem with posting counter
Posted by my66s55 on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 5:42 PM
I sent this to admin and havn't heard back from them. I'm not one to count my posting numbers so I wasn't paying any attention to them. Then I noticed that the number wasn't growing even though I was posting. A quick check in my profile of last 10 posts revealed that each and every one of the 10 posts were number 46. I have no idea when this first started. Anyone else have this happen?

Your post count changes everytime you make a new post in forums other than "Off Topic" of the "Introduce Yourself" forum.
All of your posts will show the new number which is now 47!

And now it's 48!
Yes, your posts count in "Builder's Corner" and "Where Can I Get....?" as far as I know.

I checked out some other peoples postings in tips and techniques and the same result on multiple postings over a few days. Hmm..very interesting. It's the analyst/accountant in me looking at detail in numbers. They stick out at me when they don't add up.
