Hey guys,

Just wondering which site you prefer to use for your photos and why.

Thanks in advance

I prefer Photobucket because it is free!  I've had my Photobucket account for 6 years.

Free is good! I've seen some people complain that pictures that they have posted in some threads will say that the picture has been deleted or moved, but they haven't changed anything. Have you had any similar problems?

No, I have had none of those problems.  If a picture was deleted or moved, that may have been the account owner deleting a picture or violating the terms of service with Photobucket.  Once you move a picture into Photobucket and then post it on the forum, then you go and change the location of the picture in Photobucket, you will break the link to that picture.  That will show the Picture has Been Moved Or Deleted  warning on the forum.

I wouldn't trust Photobucket...you get what you pay for.

Missing photos, and lately most people can't get onto a page and proceed to the next page on other people's Photobucket accounts.

Fotki is well worth the expense. Many ways to personalize the albums, very stable service. If you are at all serious about your photos and take a lot of shots, it is well worth the expense for their unlimited storage.

I have only used photobucket for about 5 months but have not had any issues.  I have seen the photo deleted or moved icon on here before but I have never known why.  Good thing I found out because I never even knew that was a problem.

I have an account with each service. I use Fotki almost exclusively, now, because it seems to be easier for me. Sometimes, when I try to open someone else's link to photobucket, it won't let me do so. I don't recall having that problem with Fotki. Both sites probably have their own advantages and merits, and I'd say it's just a matter of which one you're most comfortable using.
