DOING A W.I.P.
Posted by under the hood on Monday, April 18, 2011 11:54 PM

In the beggining i have tried since I have started my self on this forum a so call W.I.P. from the get go by introducing myself and doing a build,I did ask any type of feedback but again i did the wrong thing and  know one no who I really am,I just started to type. Then I did had problems with another web sight account. Don't know who faults.( don't care ) so i try to explain and try to fix the matter at that time frame on the board.I did try to get better pictures  again and try a second time through and discovered tools from that account. So again I tried to ask for leniency and to do another W.I.P it backfired after the second post i have been ( as i say put on hold for the time being) fustrated and bitter of the situation.later I cool and came back but i think others still have reflictions of what i stated and of those don't care and probbally put me on watch. My apoligize to everyone. So I ask of this from the community help and ask for your advise of a opening statement and also any  other help by giving me \through private message but if you feel that you have to post then post away i will read and ask questions about this through private messages i am almost finish of my W.I.P. of the funny car sincew the beggining. That i have added lots of new parts to it and scratch build parts as well, so again please advised  me of how.

 thank you

Hey John. I viewed your Thompson Torpedo. Nice work! I replied to that with an (I hope) easier explanation to posting pictures in the forums. Hope it helps, you do too nice work to not be viewed.

I don't know what really happened to you before and i am not about to go through all of your postings to find out what had happend.  Since you posted this on the forum, I will reply on the forum and not by PM's.  If you are doing a WIP, then your opening statement should be about the kit you are using, any changes you are going to make to the kit, paint colors you are going to use, any other parts you are going to use, the style or type of build you are going to do, and pictures.  Be clear in your decriptions, don't use IM slang as many of us find it hard to decypher so you should use Conversational English.

John, maybe what others are trying to do is to encourage you to do better.  I encourage you to try and to do a better job.  You will get better with experience and over time.  Hang in there and keep at it!

If you look at my signature, you'll see that I am working on a '68 Hemi Road Runner and a '60 Ford Starliner.  Thanks for asking!
