I had never noticed that before.  Although I do not post any sensitive information, it may be wise for those who do to pay special attention.  Any word from the Admin on this?

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

I recall from earlier days that the site did not show secure until the login page but this does not seem to be the case since the last re-do of the site. Now it appears that the entire site is not secure. Might be one reason that participation is dwindling.

i can't possibly imagine the lack of a secure site is contributing to the decline of use . You're not entering CC info here or anything else . There's zero need for the site to be secure . It's a forum , not a bank site ....

"rare" kit? no such thing!

build it, dont let it sit on the shelf.....

you cant take it with you, hearses dont have luggage racks......

Personally, I think that participation is dwindling because..........participation is dwindling!

When I log on to the forum & I see that there have been basically no new posts in the past 5 or 6 hours, there's no need to look any further.

Plus the fact that it's June & people have other things going on rather than building.

Hopefully it will pick up a tick in the winter months.

And let's keep our fingers crossed that the admins will let discussions flow instead of deleting entire threads when they get a hint that things might become a little heated.

It does not help at all when people begin to feel like they are being overly censored.

Go after the offending posters if they get out of hand, but do not punish everyone by deleting entire threads.
