Photo Host Sites
Posted by Classic Plastic on Sunday, March 11, 2018 12:37 PM

Photobucket is becoming a thorn in my side. It appears they are no long a free photo host. It's a real pain, as I have loaded many of my builds on that site. What host sites are everyone else using? Thanks for your help.

Try doing a Google search for "free photo hosting sites".  There are several sites out there.  I use IMGUR which works very well for me and it's free.  Since I have my pictures stored on CDs and another computer, I wasn't worried when I cancelled my account with Photobucket.  But going back and reloading all my images for several hundred other builds is out of the question, though.  Too much work involved!

Thanks Mike, I've copied my work to multiple computers. I looked at IMGUR but haven't investigated that site in depth. I will look into that closer and a few other options. Thanks again for your response.

This is the site that I use now.  It's a free site.  Photobucket can go pound salt as far as I'm concerned.  I can't even go there to delete my pictures.  I don't need them any more.

Delete your account with Photobucket and your pictures will disappear within 48 hours.

I can't delete my account because I can't even log in to do that. That's the problem. I've already uploaded pictures to the new site that I posted already. Thanks Mike.
