How to series of books by Kalmbach Publishing
Posted by roadtrain_al on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 3:00 AM

Do you remember the how to series, ??? when?? early 1980's???

How to build muscle cars,

How to build emergency vehicles, and more

There were about 5 or 6 of them... by the time i had the chance to buy them they were out of print, and now they are so *** expensive on the likes of evilbay...

How about it Kalmbach Publishing, PLEASE REPRINT THEM.

Reprint them for all the oldies like me who missed them the first time and for all the new kids on the block who probably haven't even seen them.

I was lucky enough to have borrowed them and read them during the 1990's and would like to have a set to pass on to my grand son who is learning to build models , i want to give him the BEST TOOLS to build his skills and i believe these books are the BEST references to do that, they certainely helped me.

I'm sure we, (modellers) would pay a fair price for them , but i can tell you now i wont pay the exorbent selfish prices these thieves on eEbay are asking,  come on Kalmbach Publishing , PLEASE bring them back.

Alan,

Australia

Come on guys and girls,  join me in this request..... lets see how many interested people there are out there....

Kalmbach - What he said!

In the frozen land of Nador, they were forced to eat Robin’s minstrels. And there was much rejoicing.

Didn't know such a thing existed, but sounds like a good idea to me. You can never have too much how to material. I have a Haynes manual for both my Jeeps so why not for model cars. Keep the $ within reason/offer a package deal.

I say DO IT!!

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it only annoys the pig.
