Thread posts cut off text when pictures are added?
Posted by Drake69 on Saturday, July 24, 2010 1:22 AM

Is there a way to change the display when a pic or pics have been added to a particular thread, that it either thumbnails the pics or keeps the extra window from cutting off the text body? I see the slider at the bottom of these pic posts, but it's really annoying to have to scroll down, slide the window to the right, then scroll back up to view the rest of the paragraph, or look at a pic. This happens in both IE and Firefox, so it's definitely a forum setting.

And I have a large widescreen monitor, so displaying large pics and text should never be an issue with me.

Still would like to see a model kit of the '97-'01 Jeep Cherokee... SOMEBODY?!?!   ANYBODY?!?!

I will look into this. Do you have an example of this that I could look at?

Thanks,

Jenny

I've see it on every thread that has a pic that is wider than the text "window" that the post is written in. It cuts off a good porion of the text along with the picture it's showing.

Drake69, do you have JavaScript turned off?

Nope, Javascript is fully enabled (at least all aspects of this site, anyway), but I see this happening more with my work account (newest IE) than I am with the newest Firefox here at home, so there might be a browser issue somewhere.
