Subscription Offer
Posted by Snake45 on Monday, June 8, 2009 12:52 PM

Yesterday on this website, I got a pop-up ad saying if I subscribed, I'd get a book of Tim Boyd kitbash projects. (Can't find anything about it today, including on the Subscribe page.)

I'm just about to send my renewal in. Will I get the Boyd book?

The overlay about the Boyd booklet offer still shows up when I visit the homepage. Your best bet is to call Customer Service at 1-800-533-6644 (or 262-796-8776 Ext. 421 for outside the U.S. and Canada) and ask them if you'll receive the book with your subscription renewal.

 What builds are in the book, our of interest?  Are they all builds that we've seen before in the mag or is there some new stuff?

Flame....they are all previously published builds, but pretty cool to have in one place for street-rod and nostalgia drag type builders.  Here they are:

* Mindless Models -  early 1960's style T Altered (4 pages)

* Kitbash a Duece - original AMT '32 5W built as a lowboy (3 pages)

* Chop that top - '65 Riviera chop, step by step (4 pages)

* Build a 1932 Foird Roadster - my "bad to the bone" flat black Revell-MOnogram '32 with 429 Cobra Jet RAm Air and all my favorite tricks for the Revell-Monogram '32 kits...(4 pages)

* Extreme Kitbashing - Beverly Hillbilles Olds becomes a T-Style Bucket (4 pages)

Bset regards...TIM
