I do not know if anyone agrees, but I am thinking what if Scale Auto Magazine included a kind of a reference photo section based on real vehicles. They have reference photos right now, but ever so often. Why not in every issue? Different cars, trucks, styles, shapes, colours, markings, and all kind of units some great, some not so great, to everyone their own. This way you could also concentrate on buying the one scale auto instead of the 3 or 4 magazines.

We did try "Real Detail" for a while, but haven't run it lately; reaction to it was mixed. Some folks like the "one-stop-shopping" idea, but others say that showing full-scale cars takes away pages for modeling projects. There's merit to both arguments.

No, it's not that easy. Magazines are printed in series of forms or "signatures" that are generally in multiples of four, so at least four pages would have to be added, and there would have to be advertising to support those pages (which is unlikely; it's why we're at the page count we currently have).
