HEY,
I was at a paintball website and they had a separate part of the site for product reviews. I was thinking, why cant SA or FSM do that? You guys should at least have a forum for Kit reveiws. Here is the site if you wanna check out the format.

Click on Product Reveiws on the top bar. Just an idea.

Hey,
Ty very much. I just thought that it would be nice for people to be able to go look at reveiws for a kit before they buy it.

Uh,.... guys,...... Scale Auto does have a kit review page. If you look at the home page, then look about half way down on the left side under the heading "Online Content", there is a link to "Kit Review".
Of course the magazine has reviews in every issue too.

There is a lot of cool stuff on the home page, so look around!

HEY,
That just has kit reveiws from the magazine. Im talking about normal people in the forums being able to put down what they thought of the model. Things like how easy was it, how much detail, what kind of quality was it, MSRP, stuff like that. Check out the link on my original post and youll see what i mean.

HEY,
Sry, i just couldnt think of what to say, i meant people not having to go through thecrap of getting their reveiws checked and approved to go in the magazine. Sry if i had offended anyone. Didnt mean to. But, noone in this forum is actually normal, modellers have a different ....mind set than"normal people". lol

Reviews would be neat as long as the person doing the review remains objective.

Reviews are always subjective; they are someone's opinion of what's good or bad. That involves experience, tolerance level for "errors" (real or imagined), etc.

For the forseeable future, we're not going to do online reviews. They will remain in the magazine only.

HEY,
hats cool, thanks for giving this a look. But one last thing, the ones in the magazine, though fare and made by experienced modellers, are only made by one person, not by people with different skill levels and people using different products on the model and such. Just my My 2 cents

Nothing prevents anyone from writing a little review post in the "what's new" forum, for example. I did it for the AMT 71 and 73 mustangs released recently. Posting impressions and pictures of the kit parts gives enough information so that any propective buyer can decide whether to buy the kit or not.
