SLOW AND STOP
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, May 6, 2004 9:39 PM
just curious ....has anybody else noticed that this site, since about three weeks, has become mindnumbingly slow....i am talking SLOW...loading,changing topics,whatever...everywhere else i go is quick to load,no problem..seems to me that everything you go to see here has to be reload every time you go there.,its getting so that after only a couple of minutes on,i lose patience and go somewhere else, very frustrating.......if it's just me then please kindly disregard this rant, anybody else has this problem ,speak up,"you can't fix a problem noone knows about".....thanks for listening and hope to hear something soon..regards, PCP

I noticed this a couple of days ago. Scale Auto has been slower to load than other sites I frequent. Thought it was just me, though.

I've noticed this problem too. As I'm sitting in Norway, and several people are having this problem, my guess it's at a server in the "SA end".
I have a 1Mb connection, so that should not be a bottleneck. The problem have been worst in the last couple of days. Perhaps it's caused by some of the big viruses going around now slowing down traffic?

I'm having no problems now-I am on high speed cable service-but my computor had a bug for about 2 wks-just got back last week. Only thing I've noticed that once in a while my screen or text seems to jump-thought just my stuff-but good as ever here.

This is the first thread in 2,3 days that actually put me in "real" time. The last few days and even earlier today I was seeing threads posted 2 days earlier as being current? I thought it was my system and it very well could of been as I just cleared out that pain in the neck "Sasser" worm. The time at the bottom of each thread was was way off. Now it is OK? Old Dog
