Dollar store demo tip
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 6:47 PM
Jim or Andy would SAE possibly consider picking one budget tip each month from the site for a brief 1-2 page demo done by the selected poster...showing technique used...

like dollar store Q-tips used ro make tuck and roll upholstery by modifying original kit parts...

or craft stick used to make bed slats for wood grained pu beds etc.

Dannon yogurt lids used for side glass window...

you know

We are always in the market for good tips/techniques/how-to projects. The recent ones we've run by Alex Kustov are examples: one tip or technique shown across two pages with a half-dozen images. Quick-hitting, works well, and gives useful info.

If you have a good idea and can show it in photos or illustrations, send a proposal to me via snail mail or E-mail and we can talk it over.

thanks Jim.... I'll do that, I have several in refinement process and now learning to take good quality pics with a digital camera....

Current project is AMT's 57 stepside custom.... doing a Q-tip tuck and roll conversion/modification to original seat, with matching head liner and door panels too.
