Box Stock vs Modified
Posted by Modelcarguy on Tuesday, July 04, 2017 1:30 PM

just a quick observation. I am seeing more and more articles and show reviews in the magazine that include a picture and the following caption: box stock build. It has xxxx aftermarket wheels or such and such add-ons.

Seems to me it's either box stock or modified. Can't be both.

What are your thoughts?

Also notice the same issue when using the term "scratchbuilt" when it is actually kit-bashed.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!
