Received dec. issue yesterday, pages torn, I would gladly pay a little more to have a plastic rap, what a waste of money!

I've been a subscriber for years and that rarely happens to me. When it does I just call the office and they usually replace the damaged issue for me. They would gladly send the issues in a plastic bag if you would like to spring for the bagging machine. Readers seem to think that bagging magazines doesn't cost the publisher anything, guess again.

Never had a issue of SA arrive damaged. Now another rag of a model magazine arrives damaged EVERY issue.

I used to get my Hemmings late and it would have things like coffee stains on the cover and on occasion a page would be torn out...so I stopped subscribing and just bought off the newsstand. I get my ScaleAuto from my LHS.

That would bum me out for sure, although I do agree with High Octane, I wanted to point out that I have been a subscriber for many years and up here in the great white north of Ontario, Canada, the magazine does come in a plastic bag. Now I'm no expert at international fulfillment, but if it comes here in a plastic bag, I believe it should go everywhere in a plastic bag. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Anything is possible. How much time and money do you have?

I don't believe anything is free, and I expect to pay for everything I get.

I agree 100% I've had my share of damaged magazines. And like Oregon Duck said...

I would gladly pay a little more to have it plastic rapped!

Look at the difference in the quality of the paper used and you can see why.
