I give up; what is it? Of what value is it?

I looked at a thread to which I had contributed and saw not only the Verified Answer but duplications of responses.

http://cs.scaleautomag.com/sca/ask_scale_auto/f/12/t/110412.aspx

As of this writing, the thread contained 11 replies but I counted more than that.

It looks like when a person asks a question they can say that their question has been answered and everyone can see that at a glance.

OK, that makes sense, but why are some of the replies duplicated?

I'll be honest...I'm underwhelmed with the "new" format, the learning curve required, and the total lack of user input for the "enhancements".

This is the third "format" I've experienced and is by far the worst.
