Were there delays sending the latest issue?

I saw it in Hobbytown in Stamford, CT on Tuesday. It still wasn't in my PO Box yesterday,,,

No, it was on time. Keep an eye on the mailbox, and if you don't see the issue soon, contact Customer Service for a replacement.

The February issue is not supposed to be on the shelves yet; someone must have put their copies out early, which happens, but adds to the "late" impression. Add in the vagaries of USPS delivery, and things can get a bit scrambled -- especially this time of year.

Let me assure you, though: the magazine is printed and shipped on time.

Thanks for the update, Jim. I tried to reply last night - it turns out the forum is not entirely compatible with the Kindle Fire (which is a Kindle problem, not a site problem).

I stopped by my local hobby shop tonight and they didn't have the Feb issue yetSad I'll check back this Friday and hope it's on the stand.

It was supposed to be out on the 3rd, and I got mine today on the 4th which  is no big deal to me. Scale Auto lately has been very prompt and I have no complaints about the delivery of the mag.

Mine hasn't shown up yet either, Snake. And it wouldn't even bother me except I keep seeing it in Hobbytown. It's the knowing that it's out there that makes it frustrating.

Mine STILL didn't come today, though I did get Car Craft, Hemmings Muscle Machines, and Guns & Ammo, so that might hold me through the weekend. Still not a happy camper, though.

Folks,

I appreciate loyal readers, but this is not the place to attack another publication. I've deleted a couple of posts that did just that.

Again, the magazine simply does not ship late -- ever. But after it ships, it's up to those who effect delivery -- and there can be inconsistencies there. When you couple that with stores that put out copies in advance of the published on-sale date, the appearance of lateness can be there.

With that said, any of you who feel that your copy is truly late can contact our excellent Customer Service Department at (800) 533-6644 from 8:30 - 4:30 Central Time weekdays to see about getting a replacement.

I had a missing issue awhile back and got a replacement which always makes me feel bad because it wasn't Scale Auto's fault; most likely the post office. I just got a magazine the other day addressed to someone many streets away. It does happen.

It might help if Scale Auto let us know the date it sends out the mag and then we could have a general idea when to expect it in the mailbox?

There's a Next Issue ad in the back of each magazine, and it includes the newsstand on-sale date.

STILL NO MAGAZINE, Monday Jan 9. If I don't get it tomorrow, I'm gonna call for a replacement issue.

Mine came a couple of days ago, maybe a week. Great issue by the way, already employing some of the "time saving techniques" and really dug the Hudson build-up. Glad I subscribed for another two years after not being able to for a year.

What a great trip to the PO Box this morning. The latest issues of Scale Auto and Model Cars were in there, as well as the new issue of Rue Morgue magazine (not model related), and the Replica & Miniatures catalog. I have way too much reading material now!

I have the digital subscription.  i have checked my emails and still have not gotten anything about the release of this edition of ScaleAuto.  I had figured going digital is faster but if everyone is getting theirs in the mail maybe its not?  Just wondering if anyone else is having a hard time
