post deleted...?

Can we not post links that are affiliated with other magazines?  I posted some stuff i found on another model site that had a bunch of pictures of the new Nova from Revell.  That was this afternoon, now its gone.  If that is true I really think that it has a negative impact on our site.  It also makes me question if i want to part of a site. Who knows though, maybe its just some glitch.

Posting links to competing web sites is considered off-limits.  Otherwise Scale Auto would essentially be allowing free advertisements to their direct competition (not a good business plan).

Alright.  I know why this isn't allowed, but it really was just to get some pictures of the Nova to people on this site.  I'm not happy about it, but what can i do.  I know Scale Auto is a full-time business for some, but by not acknkowledging other websites this seems almost tolataritarian.  That's all i feel like saying, because I know how rediculous things can get on this site.

Copy those pics, paste them in a folder in my documents, upload them on your photobucket( preferably in a "miscellaneous" or "randome models" folder so people know that they aren't your models, the post them here. Least that's what I'd do. -kevin

Rediculous?...when was the last time you saw a site with links on it to competition? The only time MSN talks about Yahoo is when they are trying to take them over! Think about it..I'm sure the 'other' magazine forum(s) not owned by Kalmbach always have links to this one...sure, makes sense to me....Wow!!SighBanged Head

Shouldn't be if it's already out?? If someone bought the kit, took a picture of it and posted it up, then that picture is fair game for everyone else to see( and use??). I don't know, but be careful. -kevin
