why oh why
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, October 06, 2006 11:48 AM
this has been occuring way to often people ask questions and as a result some spaz out and go way off topic i think this is very rude and needs to stop mabe we should have something like a warning in peoples short info below the stars to show if they are behaving or if they need to get their act in gear...

Admin and Moderators both watch the forum threads for these outbursts, and when found we first warn and then restrict the member...kind of a time out, if they are persistent offenders they get the boot and good riddance! We can't possibly get them all. If you think someone is out of line, the best thing to do is to copy the thread ID(example this thread):
http://www.scaleautomag.com/sca/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=41723 from the location window at the top of the page and send it to me and I'll check it out, if something needs to be done I'll see to it...or you can send the same info to jhaught and he'll attend to it...
I don't think there is any provision to do what you suggest on this forum's software, and since the direct approach seems to work pretty well, it's likely to stay the way it is.

Yeah I know that, so why did he call you Howard if your name is Hazelton?

By the way...if you ever want to find out more about any particular member, just click on their name in the post...that will take you to their member profile page. Some people don't fill out their profile info, and some do...but whatever information that member DID offer is going to be found on their profile page.
