thats totally cool now ,i guess i should ,ve set rules . so ,here they are .build it out of the box except the interior engine etc. it needs to be recognizable as that kit ! also mild body mods are okay ,you can change out the wheels . i want to keep it simple for any one that hasn,t done this before . i hope thats okay .    oldcarguy

I am just getting started on mine and will post pics when I have something worth showing. I doubt I will get finished by the June 1st date, but will play anyway. This is one of my all time favorite kits since I had a 1:1 29 Pickup at one time. I plan to build mine the way I would a 1:1 if I still had it today.

I gathered together all of the required supplies for mine so now all I need is time. Between working 18 hour days for the past few weeks and spending another 2-3 each day on this forum I don't know how much quality time I'll get at the workbench.

I have the engine just about completed and will take some pics when my wife brings the camera home from work! I am using the stock flathead from the Revell 48 Convertible kit. I will be using the rear end, backing plates, master cylinder etc. from the 48 kit as well. Most of the rest will be from the 29 kit, but still kicking around a few ideas on the wheels.

Anybody have anything they can show yet? Tongue

OCG, ECC anything worth showing yet? I realize thesre are only three of us involved in this project, but I'd love to see what you guys have so far. I have my engine just about done and hopefully can post a pic early next week.

oldcarguy, i have the AMT 29 ford woody/pickup, and just noticed the cbp. i dont have alot of time to build but can finish by youre end date. its still sealed in the box, would it be ok for me to join in? im currently building the boomer bucket custom T roadster pickup. the old T rods and gassers are becoming my favorites. if its to late to join, no problem, and have fun on youre builds. 67olds.
