count me in too. I have two peterbilts in the works, both of kits are revell's 359 (it's not the best kits but it works for what im doing). one of them i stretched the front hood, both front and rear part of the frame, i also stretched the sleeper and chopped the top 3 scale inches also lowered it, i also smoothed out the entire body. By removing all the rivets door handles and covered up all the light holes on the roof.. Thats th frist kit other kit i took  the cab and cut off the sleeper and made it into a day cab with some body mods like a chopped the top and stretched the hood and frame. hopefully i can make this thing laying frame. just need to find the right wheels and tires.... i'll try to get some pics up in couple of days (soon has i find my stinking camera, some how it grew feet)..

Hi guys!

I normally don't build too many big trucks, but I just happen to have an Italeri Western Star in the works right now. I am building it for my brother-in-law who is a trucker. I may be interested in joining you in this venture! It sounds really interesting. This will also give me the motivation to keep going on it and finish the darn thing! I am not into superdetailing or anything, and this will be built pretty much right out of the box. That is what the man who owns it wants, anyway. I'll keep watching and see what you fella's come up with!

As much as I would like to participate in this community build, I know I would never be able to finish by Valentines day. I will definitely be watching though.

Ok, I`ll bite lol! I`m in, but no idea what I`m gonna build yet though. I have a lot of truck kits, thinking maybe a Mack Cruise-Liner, but we`ll see.

On the bench (cos I see people put that in here!):

* Scratchbuilt Peterbilt 351 (finished)/Fruehauf tanker - The Duel Truck

* 1977 Pontiac Ventura 'Cannonball Run 2011' CBP Entry

 Hey Chris.  I was out of town over the last week and away from the board.  Looks like you've been busy with your truck builds.  They look great.  Want to catch up on it all over the next couple days.

I'd like to enter with the Astro...but it still hasn't come.  So...maybe I should take the opportunity of a deadline to finish my lazy building of a Mack DM600.  Let me know if the following pre build-off work is acceptable to be entered;

Maxi engine block assembled - Doors cut (some rough details added to int of doors) - a few small parts assembled (stack tanks) - Chassis beams w/ crossmembers assembled - axles / springs assembled.

Thanks,

-Paul

I knew as soon as I mentioned that Mack...the Chevy would get here...there was a minor mix-up at my LHS.  It's been here for a few days.  They're human.

Titan Kit">

Please put me down for this instead Chris.   The kit looks great!  Extremely nice tooling and good looking plastic.

Thanks,

-Paul

You got it Chris.  Will do.  Now to clean off the work table.  The washing machine is fine for taking pics of the kit, but it's not so convienient to work on.  I'm not talking from experience...so, correct me if I'm wrong.
