I'm interested in this one...if it stays the '69 model only. It could be alot of fun to see all the different takes on the one body style.

I'm in if you would include 1/12 scale. I have a 69 1/12 scale in progress that could be completed by year end.

If Craig is in then I'll get in with my version of the 1/12th scale I've got going.

I can't speak for everyone but it should be plenty of time for me.

I'll be building the Revell 69 Camaro convertible. Hugger Orange w/ white stripes and white interior.

Looks good for an end date..I'm getting married in August, so that should give me the opportunity to finish.

It will also give me a good chance to take a breather from Project X.... It is going slow and nowhere...I'm thinking i've bitten off more than I can chew!

Now to decide how this 69 is gonna look!!! Let the sketching begin.

88integra,

I've never thought of actually doing that. But as soon as I read your post, since we're talking about a phantom, I pictured a few things:

Flat hood with no SYC logo or hood stripes.
Keep the side stripes.
the only 427 badge would be on the rear panel immediately beside the right light.
Yenko badges in the middle of interior door panels.

Have no idea where that came from. But it's kind of that "sleeper" look I go for.

I guess we can start anytime? (I didn't see a start date, just an end date of 12/31).

For the record, my plans are a factory/dealer stock Yenko/SC in Rally Green with white stripes and black interior. The plans and research have already begun! I'm hoping to push my detail ability further than with my first Dart project so far. We'll see...

well I will have to start a new yenko, just have to pick a color, rally green is already done and on the shelf, maybe lemans blue, and I will see if I can get that 1/12 scale Z28 done as well! may also try the phantom yenko convertable . had been thinking of it for a while but in a different color than the original 6 69 yenko colors. off to the hobby room and see what I come up with.

Locked and Loaded, and ready to go. I'm building a 69 Yenko Camaro...It's yellow with the black striping and it's box stock, except for the 69 camaro convertable decal sheet I'm using! Cool BTW, I've been working on this for about an month now, and before I put anything together, I painted everything...so I'm putting this camaro together pretty quickly and it looks killer!..now I need to find a camera.
