LOL - what I am doing will likely raise a couple of eyebrows, get a little negative feedback, and hopefully get some positive feedback.

I still need to pick up a second identical kit, plus a couple of kits to bash for parts.

Once it is underway I will for sure put up some pics.

Just popped in to show you this:

Found it on this site http://olaf.nhz.de/gallery/season2006
A lot of other cool VW there aswell.
I got an idea when I saw that one. I got a spare Hasegawa 67 Transporter that would fit the bill nicely but I'm not sure how to get hold of those "passengers"Clown

Thanks DUKK, this is where I'm up to with the chassis. I've been detailing the extension area and got the front and rear suspesion mocked up, it's all articulated and moves like it would on a 1:1 car. I'm scratchbuilding an Air Ride set up for it at the mo.

Thanks for the comments, I'm just finishing up on my scratch built rear bumper now. Next up is the tail light bezel's but there's always something that needs doing while glue or putty is drying.

How is everyone else is doing with their projects?

Looking forward to seeing the work you've done Erase! My hearse is on the backburner, but I may do some work on it tommorow.... I built the floor pan for the pro street, and I now need to add some detail to it. I'll get some pics of it posted soon. Until then, Happy fourth of July everyone!

Alright - lets try to get some mockup shots up here.. Keep in mind that this is just glued up, no filler or finishing yet.

Yep - it's a DEORA HEARSE Evil Plus it's ProStreet. I must be twisted or something..

I bought two kits and stretched it a scale 2.5feet, then had to box in the back of the frame and make new spring mounts for the narrowed rear end. The windows in the top will be filled and then two new windows made for casket viewing - Euro style. Then I have the 'fun' job of fitting that top to the cab - man that's a bad fit from the factory...

And no worries - it's not staying yellow.

Do you think the top is too high? I sort of feel it is but I'm not sure I want to go to all the effort of chopping it either.. Dead
