Sorry to tell you This body is not available. It is an AMT mustang II modified using part of a badly built Monroe Handler body I bought at a model contest last year for 2 bucks. I have about 60 hours of work to get it to this stage. Had to build the rear spoiler, the side spats and the front air dam plus cutting the roof and fits the new one that has tinted Troof. I'm not finished, I'm modifying the seats to look like the cheaper seats, Have to find a steering wheel, have to build the targa bar. Engine, exhaust systems, find tires that fits the wheels from a McLaren mustang.

Will be posting more pics. Go seehttp://photobucket.com/albums/v337/signmike/King%20Cobra/

Lot of work but also lot of fun.

I know, I hate it too. I operate a sign shop and when I took the picture, it was in winter so I had to stack some stuff on it to make room for some big sign. But anyway I will have to repaint the whole car because many years ago some employees didn't care and made pretty nasty scratches everywhere. They don't work for me anymore... I don't have employees anymore. It already have been repainted so its not that bad.
Speaking of paint. Last night I screwed-up the paint on my KC models because of fish eyes. Must have use the wrong cleaner for final wash. I clean up the paint before it dries with varsol. So now I'm back at sanding and priming stage. Can't win all the time.

Gee, I'm doing it for fun. . . well

Finally. the paint is on. Its looking good but will need a lot of fine sanding and polishing. Was painted with car colour match paint in spray can, Ford bright red on variprime primer.

After all theses hours sanding the putty and primer, I, now have to colour sand and rub this paint....
I modified the seats to look like the 1:1 car. Took a picture of the seat and reduced it to size in Photoshop. Then I printed on regular paper and glued the image on the seat using Microscale Micro Flat

First time I use this technique, will have fun with this in the future.

Its called Adobe Photoshop. You can get this software everywhere. Any cheaper software for photo/image editing will do, There is many kind on the market. Only make sure you can reduce the image to 5/8'' wide. which is about the width of the inside of the seat.Older version of Photoshop will give more tools than you need. Dont buy the latest version. Its an expensive software. Since it is popular you may be able to use a friend copy. If you know a computer wizz around he will help you. . . Most of the time these guys want the latest version just for the fun of having it and can give you the older. If you want when you get it, email me, I will show you the procedure, just to save you a little time.
Corel Photopaint is an other good one too.
maheu.michel@sympatico.ca mention scale auto in object because I received ton of emails.

This is how those seats looked like before modifs (The one in the back)
In the front , modified ones before painting. There is a huge amount of primer to hide the sanding scratches. 5 very wet coats. Was getting fed up of sanding LOLSadWhistlingBig Smile

They were the same as AMT new Mustang II
