Color on that Pro Street should be very differant. Go with something outlandish.
Lime Green or a Bright Orange.

Cheers mate.......cool, you are gonna have fun building a python, was someone else on here building one as well?

Thanks for your suggestions on paint for my pro streeter, both colours sound cool, I'll let you know what I decide. Going to my LHS tomorrow so I'll check out the colours they have.

Hey Signmike

Liked you photo album, there's a lot of love and attention to detail going into your model, nice one!! Wow!! your 1:1 KC is awesome dude, how long have you owned it? A friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago for £500.00, it needed some work but he had too many projects and sold it on. Now he regrets doing it. Great story about the KC with the jeans interior, never heard of that being done on a mustang before. I remember it was all the rage back in the late 70's too, VW did a special edition jeans beetle, saw a few of them. Thanks for the advice on the spat, I shall remember to sand off the excess when I next work on it.

Hiya Gratch, I picked it up a few years ago on ebay, before the prices started getting stupid.

Love it or hate it, I gotta admit that ebay has been a great source for some old and obsolete kits that I would never have picked up in England otherwise, probably half of them were never issued over here in the first place.

The pics of the clean KC comes from the net. The ones where you see only part of the car is mine. Its not as perfect but it is close.Tonignt I finished sanding the rear of my model. Its looking good. Tomorrow I tackle the front air dam. Will update the pics too.
I like your gulf Python. Looks really nice in that color scheme. I'm also working on a 428 hood scoop that was on 68 mustang. Will show you this tomorrow.

Hey !did anyone else get they're new II kit? Mine was in yesterdays mail, and I wasn't too happy with it. The box art shows details that appear to be of the MPC II kits when if fact it's a repop of the AMT II "street machine " kit. The front spoiler is not the same as box art., nor is the front suspension or the engine compartment detail.

I have not got mine yet.......Atleast it is only $12 not $30-$80 on E-Bay!!!!!!
I have 2 old AMT kits #PK-4179 '77 Mustang II and #T385 Mustang GT Road Racer.
The first one has the correct 351 block. Does the new kit have that?? If so, it is worth the cash just for that!! The GT has 3 builds, Street, Stock or Road Race. Has a opened hatch.
Thanks for the heads-up Roy!!! Can you post a pic of the kit?

Hey Boss, waiting for pics.
Will post pics of my KC soon. It looks like I have a problem with my camera cause the pics are not sharp as usual.ASA I find the trouble I will. The body is amost complete.I am finishing the front air dam this weekend. The next step willbe the targa bar. Next I prime and paint. Started the engine, will be a 289,271 cobra engine with the stock mustang ll trans (everything will be stock except the engine). Also made a mold of McLaren wheels. Hop it comes out good

I painted the Python but ran out of paint. As for the engine Ive decided to got with the 351 in the kit but I swapped out the trans since it looks like an auto for a manual that I made a resin cast of. The tranny came from a 427 so its a big beffy tranny for a 351.

Sounds Great Boss!!! 351 ROCKS!!!!
I am going to practice a few stripe paintings before I do the IMSA.
I think I will start on the Revell HotRod Stang II. The decals in the kit are trash
so stripes must be layed.

Hi Scott

My den looks like a mustang II assembly line at the moment.....LOL!!! Been doing bits and pieces to various kits, managed to squirt some paint on my stallion II, but it didn't look to good, so I'm prepping the body again. Hoping to get some paint on the stallion today and also on my 76 and 78 cobra II's....Phew! I'll post some pics when I can
