Scott, gonna build a "low buck" bracket racer. I am starting with a partially started kit. Gonna do it real basic. Radiused rear wheel wells. gutted int., maybe steelies out back w/small slicks. Might make it look rough, faded paint and, such. Oh yeah, 5.8 power.

AAHHH... Yesss!!! I think I'll be in this one too Scott!! The length of the build is perfect. It gives us time to finish up all the other builds that one gets into. I'm going to do the 76 that I owned. It was kind of a dark lime green with white vinyl top and white interior. 4cyl,2bl carb, 4spd trans. for the running gear. Doesn't that sound like a basic stock Stang to ya! Oh yea...it had wood grain accents on the dash and doors, if I remember right. You might need to JOG my memory Scott..or Kris...or anyone for that matter!! Big Smile OH YEA....Let's build some more STANGS!!!! Thumbs Up Big Smile

Cool Kris, What are you going to build?

I am buiding a replica stock of a Mustang II King Cobra. I own a I: I car , it is red with red interior with orange and gold striping.I found decals last year on ebay.
I am using a Python Mustang II as a base kit. Right now I'm working on the body parts ( flares, air dam, rear spoiler) building from scratch.I found a Monroe Handler poorly buid and a model contest which I am chopping to make all these parts.. It is a real hard job (first attemp at scratchbuilding.

Sorry , I had only one kit like this but I will keep looking around.

Bye the way King Cobras were the same mechanics as 78 Cobra with a trim option. Flares spoiler air dam and wheels which were the same on McLaren Mustang.
