Boss_Hotrod, what are you doing for this CBP? As I said earlier I'm doing a '50 Chevy Stepside. So far the engine is done and now I'm fiddling with the chassis/suspension. So how about every one else's progress?

heres my junk in the works mark. I dont know how much i will get to work on it though because of my 58 impala project.... But anyway heres a little bit about it.. It has a NHRA 500 ci. B.B. ( i am gonna change the carbs ) I also drilled 1 side of the block for a set of solder headers.. I had to greatly widen and deepen the tranny tunnel for the tranny to fit the stock suspension.. I still havent figured out the suspension for the front and rear though.... I also made new motor mounts and i had to move the tranny mount back.... anybody have any ideas or suggestions for me...? Thanks for looking!!!

I'm in. I'm doing my first car, a 64 Galaxie 500XL. I'm using a Blueprinter body, chrome & glass, & everything else form the AMT 60 Starliner custom(except for the stock exhaust system, & single4V Yblock from the stock Starliner), it's going to be tourquiose mettalic with the 2 tone tourquiose & blue int..I just cut the hood out of the 64, (Ihave an original 64 hood), & washed the body. I have to take care of some moldsinks, then it's ready for primer & paint!!!!Big Smile

Here's a mockup pic of the 64 Galaxie. I cut the hood out of the blueprinter curbside kit, fabricated filler strips for the fenders, & top of the firewall, & modified the kit interior using the article out of the 2001 Car Modeler Mag. The floorboard fenderwell assy , & firewall is from the AMT 60 Starliner custom. The frame& suspension will be from the same kit. The exhaust system & stock Y block engine will be from the stock Starliner. Thanks for looking.

Looks like we're going to have some good projects for this CBP.

Im going to add a 71 Hemi Cuda to my plate. Im trying to figure out what color to paint it. I was thinking black but I dont know what to do about the side/bilboard stripes. Any body know what to know or willing to suggest a different color?
