Heller kits
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 14, 2003 7:06 AM
Does anyone know where I can find Heller kits in the USA, or even where I can order them from outside the USA?
They have a couple of rally kits I want to get that will help fill my collection but I can't seem to find them in the USA.

Any help would be appreciated Smile

Actually Alex, that's not the one I am looking for.
I am looking for their recently released 2002 Ford Focus WRC kit, I couldn't find it on GP's website last night though.

We had a person ask this same question a few issues ago. In the October, 2003 issue, a reader wrote in with this info (also found on p. 10 of the October issue):

"In response to Michael J. Walter's question about where to find Heller kits (p. 8 Scale Auto June, 2003), if there's a Hobbytown USA near him, they sell Heller kits. He can also write the company for a listing of American retailers:

Heller - Zone Industrielle
B.P. 5-61160
Trun France

I have recieved excellent customer service from them"
G.J. Geracci, Oakely, CA

Hope this helps.

Thanks Andy, it helps a little.

The plan is unfortunately flawed though, in this area of PA there are no HobbyTown USA's and hobby shops are scarce and long drives away
There aren't even stores that sell Scale Auto or FSM, that's how bad things are.

I was on Heller's website which is how I found the kit in their 'New Release' section, I guess I could resort to contacting them and hoping for the best.

You can also go to the HobbyTown USA site and order online through a store that has your kit. You enter the state name, the locations come up, and then you can do a search to see if a store has your kit. Then you can order from that store.

Thanks Jim, I never realised you could do that.

I will see if I can find the kit I am looking for the way you mention.
