Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV WRC

I have the Hasegawa kit of this car, but would like to know what engine I could use to convert it from curbside? Is it possible, and if so does anyone know where I could get the parts?

It's a good kit, and it would be really good to have full engine detail.

Try looking for an Eclipse turbo non-curbside kit and start from there. It uses the same 4G63 engine as the Evo. Smile

2cam16 is correct. I would buy the Revell-Monogram The Fast and the Furious Eclipse and use the engine out of that.

Eclipse Engine

EVO IV Engine.

These are both 4G63 with turbochargers, but the valve covers are a bit different. Notice that the cam gears are on the opposite side on the EVO engine, too.

I don't think it'd be too hard to modify the Eclipse engine to look like the 4G63 out of the EVO IV.
