Looking for a set of wheels
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 9:29 PM
Hi,

I'm looking for a particular set of wheels to complete my model, which is a replica of my own car. Here are the wheels I'm looking for . If you can't see the image (because it's my first post and the preview doesn't seem to work), you can see it at http://www.reference.qc.ca/sat2.jpg. And here's another angle (http://www.reference.qc.ca/sat2.jpg)

Thank you,

Denis Dupere.

I've got some wheels that look very close to those, they came in a Ford Truck kit, I'll try to post a pic later.

i do not think any one made a set of Modgeler's but i could be wrong. Why not take a set of Center line and drill them out that would be about as close to it you could get.

Thank you FIREMODELMAN. I will post pics when it'll be completed. It's not even started yet! I've read my post and it was confusing, I meant I'm almost finished looking for parts. I'm trying to gather all the parts before I begin. Don't expect too much of it, it'll be my third model. I mean it's not my third model because I did some when I was a kid but I decided to give modeling another chance! :)

Hi Gasser, I would really like to see those wheels. I wasn't expecting to find wheels exactly like these but a close match would do.

And finally, hi Chas! Thanks for the info, I didn't even know what the model of these wheels were. Now I know. Like I said before, I'm getting back in the hobby and I don't know what "Center lines" are. Could you post a link where I can see a picture to give me an idea of what they are?

All the way down the bottom of the page is the Moduler wheels like your's. Now for what i would start with is the Racing Center Lines that come on the Revell 70 Chevell 3-1 kit and go from there and drill out the rim.

I've checked with my brother and he actually have the Monogram 64 GTO kit. I think these wheels will work pretty well. Thank you all, big time, for your help.

vinnietbird, I will put Rally Wheels on the car! I just don't have the money right now. :)
