The recent FastTrack on this model shows it to be what looks like a fabulous kit. Sooo...where's a good place to buy one? I've looked around and it turns out that it's only available from firms with which I'm unfamiliar. Does anyone have any insight on who gives excellent service on rare/niche market/hyper detailed kits?

Interesting! Never heard of Nunu.

I'd try Hobby Link Japan https://www.hlj.com/1-24-scale-lancia-delta-s4-86-rallye-sanremo-nunpn24005 . Great customer service and a straight-up good seller.

Trevor,

Thanks loads for the link. I looked it up and it is the one that Tim Kidwell did the Fast Track on the other day. And it's always helpful to have insight from folks who have experience with dealers.

Appreciate it.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered the Lancia from Hobby Link Japan. Everything was on the up and up, straightforward and quick. The package arrived about two days ahead of schedule and man, was it packed well. It was like the outer box was custom sized for the size of the kit box. No way it could have moved around during shipping.

Now all I need to do is figure out when I can get it started. Gotta finish this '53 Chevy Bel Air I've been working on for much too long...Confused

I might try posting pics of it as I work through it. This kit is so detailed it's unbelievable!

How was it shipped and what did it cost? I've been told by another Japanese dealer that all mail service is cancelled out of Japan. They were supposed to get back to me about DHL/UPS/FedEx type service but never have. (Plus, looking at prices from Europe, it would be 3-4 times the cost.)

VintageRPM, yes it was pricey to ship. It came DHL all the way, the cost was $25.61 if memory serves and there was a discount code on the shipping so it was just over $20 to ship all said and done. I used PayPal and no problems.

Thanks. Good to know. Shipping sounds a bit cheaper than from Europe. I may soon be placing an order with HLJ.
