Wondering about a non-batmobile, bat themed kit
Posted by 195X on Monday, April 27, 2020 10:21 PM

A couple years back I saw a kit, of a car with a bat kind of theme to it. It was a built one with no box. Don't know if it was a cadillac or what. Anyone know the kit? Is it rare-HTF?

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

On the bench... somewhere. Pink Panther show car, 1978 Dodge Magnum Charger Daytona Midnight edition SE 300. Mongrel T.

Just a guess here. Could it have been an Alfa Romeo BAT?  Fisher Models offered one, years ago.

No, it was not an Alpha Bat. REALLY hard to confuse one of those with a Caddilac. ;)

1955 Lincoln Futura?  Revell did a kit of this car back in the day. In 1:1, it is the car from which the real Batmobile was made.

There is over a dozen of them on epay right now.

No, not the Futura. This was a boat like an Impala or such, with custom parts to add on that gave it a bat/vampire type theme. And no, I don't mean the Vampire Van either. ;)

LOL! I won't consider it a win until I have one in my grubby, little paws. :)

Wow! That's, um, well it's pretty ugly. Very interesting though. Never seen one before.
