I need a suspension coil spring for a 79 Pontiac Firebird 1/16 scale.

If you have one then it would be pretty easy to make a second. Measure the diameter of the wire in the coil and then head to the nearest guitar store. You can buy individual strings anywhere from 0.007 inch and up and then wrap it around a dowel slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the spring you have. That will allow the wire to expand once it is wrapped to the actual diameter you need. One string will make several springs so you can practice until you get one you like.
