AMT 1969 GTX, resin up top?
Posted by 195X on Monday, February 3, 2020 10:20 PM

Just wondering if anyone knows of a maker doing convertible up tops for this kit?

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

I really don't think so, however maybe you could get a couple of "up tops" from some of the AMT 60's kits or maybe work over the up top from the Polar Lights '65 Dodge Coronet convertible.

I originally bought the kit for something else and decided to build it. Did not know there was a hardtop version. Either way, I've decided to do it top down and likely swap the engine for something more mundane than a HEMI. I just feel like anything with over 400 horses under the hood, should have a roof... probably a roll bar too... at least. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hello

i can make an uptop for that car.  Ive made several uptops and half-up tops for the early impala years.
