AMC or JEEP Resin and/or plastic model kits
Posted by Pensky on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 7:57 PM

I'm looking for AMC kits,  I have the Gremlin and AMX's, but I'm looking for 1970's Hornet Sportabout, Eagles, Matadors wagons, Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Original Cherokees, OLDs Vista Cruiser Wagons

Anything with fake wood paneling

If anyone knows of these types of kits or resin models please let me know

Those would be some hard to find kits!

Have you checked Model Roundup & Spotlight?

You might want to check the resin casters.

Tamiya does a Grand Charokee and a Wrangler, both seem to be 90s vintage (square headlights).

JoHan did a Hornet but hard to find today and quite expensive. There is a promo on ebay right now. JoHan also did a few of Ramblers and other AMC cars, but will be a bit pricey when you find them.

AMT did a mid 70s Matador, but also hard to find today. Saveable glue bombs might be cheaper.

AMT and MPC both did Pacers, one of which was recently reissued.

Hi Pensky;

    I used to have a Hornet Sportabout. It was smooth sided. Ran well till it fell off a bluff that collapsed without notice and swam in the Arkansas River for the two days it took to get it out.

 I don't believe i've ever seen one of these with  faux wood siding
