Looking for some 1/25 '69 Dodge Charger Daytona pieces
Posted by markdoo on Friday, March 22, 2019 8:06 PM

I have a project in-mind, but need some parts to get that project off the launch-pad.  Problem is, I don't want to make a big investment in this project as I'm undecided as to what direction the project might finally go in.

What I'm looking for are the body, interior, glass and chassis pieces from the 1/25 AMT/Round-2 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona kit.  Now I know this kit doesn't build-up into the best representation of the 1:1, and I know the Revell/Pro-Modeler kit issued way back in 2004 is of a much higher-quality, but I also suspect there maybe many of these AMT/Round-2 '69 Daytona kits lying around in an unfinished state, and maybe looking for a new home.

Anybody have some parts from this kit that they're willing to "part-out"?  I don't want or need any engine pieces, or any wheel and tires either.  Just looking for the body, interior, glass and chassis pieces in either fresh-from-the-tree or good and restoreable condition. I have a fairly-extensive parts box to trade from.  Any "dead" '69 Daytona projects out there looking for a new home?  Thanks!

I'll have a look to see if my failed attempt at a Super Charger is still around ,

there will be a chassis at least..

( seeing as it was a convertible concept , the windows , interior & body were

" modified " -- read 'mucked up' -- beyond repair .) Bang Head
