Instructions papers for Ed Roth's Road Agent model kit
Posted by Spencer Mopar Fan on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 7:57 PM

I am recieving a FREE model from a very VERY nice man here in the UK who is building a 1:1 tribute to the Road Agent called Agent Thor .....

If you're intrested, here's the link ...

www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/garage/agent-thor-tribute-538089

But , as Big Daddy Ed Roth signed the box & instructions , he is going to keep those . Fair enough , " beggars can't be choosers"  'n' all that...

I've heard it's a tricky kit to build , so I may need the actual steps I guess . Wink

If anyone of you magnificent builders can help me I shall be eternally greatful .

A link to a download will be quite sufficient , I looked at the Revell page , no joy Crying

A bazillion thanks in advance , Spence . Big Smile

I have built this kit several times over the years. Let me tell you that your alignment of the frame with the crossmembers is absolutely imperative to the successful completion of the kit.  Otherwise it pretty much falls together quite nicely for a kit that was issued in the 1960s!

"rare" kit? no such thing!

build it, dont let it sit on the shelf.....

you cant take it with you, hearses dont have luggage racks......

Cheers , thank you , Merci Beaucoup & Danke ….. etcetera ! I shall make a small jig from balsa & pins for the frame Dale ( something I did as a job - plastic road alert signs of all things !!) - , so using " transferable skills " will come in handy at last YAY !! .LOL

Depending on the colour of the bubble top , I might get "all experimental" , emphasis on the last two sylables (!) , and do a completly different colour to the magenta / red stock colour . I like the idea of doing a opalescent / or pearlescent light blue for some reason ..... Yes

Friday , 1/2 12 gmt .

Got me a jiffy bag of parts in the post today ….

Hmmone wheel (?) ,

all of the frame , IFS & tube front axle confused me at first ...

chrome motor & painted ( metallic blue...) body - its mostly started .Yes

Hmmm ……..? A project for free is not to be sniffed at & I'm happy it arrived intact !

I might do it as " Off Road Agent " Indifferent or even " Sky Agent " Mischief  ,

stubby curved / swept back wings & "home made jet engines" in all 4 corners  ?? Smile, Wink & Grin
