Hi Guys,

I know that Scale Dreams is no longer in business and I just wondered if any of you know who might be still selling their parts or where I could get some of the "thinner" ribbon they used for their seat belt material. Most of the ribbon I have found is approx. 1/8" wide and doesn't fit the Model Car Garages' seat belt hardware very well (fraying). The Scale Dreams seat belt material (ribbon) I have is only about 3/32" wide and fits the seat belt hardware perfectly. Can anyonr help?

I have seat belt material that comes on a roll, that's right and it's called masking tape. I cut it to length and width, thread it through the hardware and fold it over. Then I lay it on some wax paper which the belts stick to and paint them the desired color. When the paint is dry I can peel them off and install them on the seats. They will stick to the seats, however I do use a small dab of epoxy under the hardware and also under the opposite end of the belt. Seems to work well for me, and the cost is ZERO as most people have a roll of ordinary masking tape laying around their house. Try it!

I recently put a detail set together with 2mm seat belt material. I was looking for something that didn't have a fancy edgeing an did, but to my suprise it had perfect texture to represent. Waiting on the girlfriend to make me a label for them an tell me what I had to sell for but it was like $5. Or if you just want a lifetime+ supply I will link to the ebay listing with them. I only bought black and white, just color the white instead of buying all the different colors.
