In dier need of ford 427 oval breather.

Anyone seen or heard of any one making a ford 427 oval breather? I am doing the 66 galaxie 500 7 liter for the CBP. It comes with a stock 428 and a racing version. The only difference i can see (externally ) is the 427 was dual carbs and an oval breather. I am using the racing manifold and dual carbs, but i need the oval breather. It is not like the dodge one. i have looked on line a few times trying to find one. May have to try to make one, or go back to the 428, which would suck. Wish i could make it the xl, less than 50 ordered. The xl had headlight  lens covers. But still i think there was less than 3000 of the 66 galaxie 500 7 liters with the 427. I know chevy and dodge will eat it up, but it was a first.

The bottom looks closer. What would you want for it?

FYI, the Galaxie 7 Litre came with the 428 and single 4bbl carb, not the dual carb 427.

Sorry, better research a little more. The early ones did have a 427. 2 carb set up. I want to say less than 3000 made. Then the 7 liter xl also had the 427 2 carb set up, but only 47 or 49 of them made. Ford switched to the 428 midstream  to compete or try to compete with chevy and dodge. I have researched a bunch on this build. But like i say i may be wrong. It will not be the first time and for sure will not be the last. Also the 427 ford was the second build of the 427, the first could not with stand the punishment. The first was a top oiler and i think nascar help them develop the side oiler version. And that made it nascar worthy, held up to the punishment.

Mr. TNT, you might find what you're looking for in the 427 version of the '66 fairlane.

That will work. I can modify it , just need to remove a bit of the raised area. What would you need or want for it?
