there was a kit of this car made by i think Revell of Germany. i was bidding on one last year on Ebay. i didnt win the bid , but it did sell for a very reasonable price. the scale i believe was 1/25. try searching Revell, AMT, Monogram and MPC as a whole and then search just the automotive kits. there is tons of stuff there that you will never find searching by the car or trucks name.

Revell did make a curbside of that in 75, it represented the American 1974 with big bumpers, not the svelt earlier models. Mike

The only version of the earlier car was by one of the smaller Japanese companys,,Arii maybe? From the pics I've seen the proportions looked a bit off but it was definitly the earlier car with the vents in the 1/4 panels behind the doors.

The AMT catalog for 1976 announced the September '76 release of the 1977 Capri II Sports Coupe (T486) annual kit in 1/25 scale.
The 1977 AMT catalog shows a Capri II "Cafe Racer" (T224) as a May '77 release. This is a 'customized' version of the above kit with mag wheels, wheel flares, front air dam and side exhausts.

Update: Further research shows that there was an AMT '76 Capri II annual (T474) kit, too.

Airfix made a 1/32 scale version of the early '70s Capri like the one pictured.

The Japanese Doyusha company did this, not sure if it's still made.
I did a slammer of this, as it's a typical seventies kit, with a very shallow interior to make room for an electric motor and batteries. The body needs a lot of work i nome areas, particullary the front and rear ends. I also replaced the kit wheels with something more.....wheel like...

The one above, by Doyusha is no longer in production however not hard to find and I recently saw this at one LHS I go to. Curbside, very basic and intended for motorized, as stated, crappy interior... basically just the headrests! 1/24 scale.

Both AMT and Monogram -1/25 & 1/24 th scales respectivly , were issued . They were Capri II 's with the Saftey Bumpers . They are more available than the imports . Just remove the RR ties and install fabricated Toothpaste Tube front and rear protection . I have an air box [monogram-2103] of the midnight Capri II S . A special black / gold / equipment package offered at the dealers in the model run . Monogram's was a curbside , promo type . I believe AMT' s had engine detail . Thanx....

I think that Airfix did one in 1/32 scale way back in the 60's. It was a Mk1. When the Capri first came out Ford advertised it as 'The Car You Always Promised Yourself'
