AMT / AMX
Posted by Michael B. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 7:07 AM

Did anyone ever make an AMT / AMX in either 1/24th or 1/25th scale?  I believe MPC currently has one in production in 1/20th.

Yes! JoHan made 1968-70 in 1/25 scale. These can be difficult to find now and may be expensive when you do. However, the Shirley Shahan 68 AMX pro/stock is one of the more frequently available johan kits on ebay, etc. Also, this kit was re-released in the 80s(?) as AMX Pro Street with generic decals. There was also a Testors release of the AMX Pro Street which is the same kit. If you are patient you may be able to find a decent deal.

JoHan also made the Javelin AMX of the early-mid 70s. As with the two seat AMX, it may take some looking to find one, but are also one of the more frequently available JoHan kits.

I think (though not sure) Keith Marks makes some stock decals for some iterations of the AMX.
