1967 Satellite

On my to do list is a '67, as my cousin who is a great reference for my movie car research has a beautiful real one.

Cant find any kits.  Sad

I wonder if one existed, or if a '68 or '66 can be converted.

You could convert the 1967 Plymouth GTX if you wanted a hardtop. Don't know where you'd get the Satellite badges, 'tho. If your cousin's car is a post sedan, Model Car World Automotive Finishes (the paint people) make a 1966 Belvedere 2dr post sedan, that could be converted into a 67 with parts from the 67 GTX kit.

Thanks Chris!  Will message you tomorrow about our project!  :)

My cousin sent me pics of his car, and wondered how  67 GTX and Belvedere kits could work, something about the Belvedere being shorter (chasis and frame) and the GTX not being close?  He's a car expert, not a modeller, so I must consider the fact he doesnt know what we are capable of Smile

Anyway, very cool young cousin.  Was a service station mechanic since the age of 15 in Indiana, graduated from Purdue and was pursued by NASCAR and auto manufacturers.  Took a job for a company that makes brakes for Indy and F-1 cars, and is living the life.  Really want to make a model of his car for him.

I should post pics of it here.
