Both 1956 and 1957's were made, as dealer promos, by AMT.

Olderisbetter

No, not in kit form.

The only kit was the Revell small scale kit.

I believe that it was around 1/32 scale & is actually a pretty nicely detailed kit.

Other than that, only promos in 1/25th scale.

And good luck finding one that's not a twisted, warped mess!

I'd love to see a full detail example of this kit in 1/25th. I'd buy at least 3. Always one of my faves.

Thanks Dimaxion, I don't work with resin that's why i'd like to see the car in kit form.

Hmmm;

 It seems that just before I went to the " Nam " There was a 1/25 model out there . My local Hobby Shop said it was around for one year and was by Revell . He never did understand why it never appeared in any of their catalogues .

 It probably would've been the typical Multi-Piece body .

You're probably thinking of the 1/32 scale kit.

It is a Revell & it is a multi piece body.

If there was ever a 1/25th kit made, there should be quite a few examples around.

Like every "annual" kit back then, it would have been available for a year & there should be as many examples around today as any other "one year only" annual kit.

I have never seen one, or heard of anybody who has, making it highly unlikely that it existed.

Well , Steve ;

 I have to say if the thing was made in 1/25 there would be proof  ,true . Now that said , It would be nice to see one in 1/25 . Certainly better looking than that years T-Bird .
