Did anyone ever produce a 71 - 72 Chevelle with  flat, stock hood: no induction bump?

I asked this question a couple years ago. From what I could gather, that's a big negative. I'm still on the look out, though. If I come across one, I'll let you know.

Not that I know of, of course I'm not a big "Chevelle guy" and my favorite year Chevelle is the '66. Maybe some of the "bowtie boys" know of the hood you're lookin' for?

If you guys want a stock hood , you'll probably have to take the rear of the flat hood from the Monogram 70 Chevelle and combine it with the front of the 71-72 hood to get the vents along the back edge , then fill in the blower opening .

You may be in luck. Bandit Resins makes a 71 Chevelle with both a flat hood and cowl induction hood. See my build from a couple years ago: http://cs.scaleautomag.com/mobile/forums/thread.aspx?ThreadID=117387
