Apoligies to forum members
Posted by Painted Black on Sunday, March 1, 2020 2:35 PM

As you may have read, there is a bit of a unecessary converstion going on between Midnightprowler and my self. But he just will not let it go, he keeps PM'ing me, calling me names and I just will not respond to his childish bull anylonger. So I apoligie to members.

If any members fell I should leave, please speak up. Thanks

No need to leave. It is very difficult at times, to devine tone and or intent from written words. Very often this leads to confusion, and or arguments. This too shall pass. Simply ignore each other. It only takes one of you to do so. Then the other is just whistling in the wind. I would tell him the same thing. They are models and not worth the aggravation.

There will always be rivet counters and non rivet counters. The two do not mix well but, it is what it is, we have both here. The great thing about a forum is, there's always someone else to talk to.

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

Exactly. It is difficult to determine tone. That's why I apologized for it sounding like I was talking about him personally when I wasn't. Not good enough for him. His whole attitude about it was why I referred to him as a dink. Ignore him I will.

Don't let it get to you, there are several 'Wise Ones' who are the know alls of this hobby. Members of every one of this type site and have something to say about anything and everything, right or wrong. Have to get their two cents in whether called for or not. I know who they are and avoid them like the plague and their builds and posts as well.l!!! Zero interest. Supposed to be fun, share tips and tricks, but they have to hog the limelight and always figure out how, even when indirectly it is insulting another persons choice of model to build or the build itself. That is the main reason I post nothing, pictures or otherwise of my builds, as I am beyond being critqued by self appointed experts. This is a hobby for me and use it for stress relief. I am not building a real driveable car, so whether or not the kit is 'Perfect' really is of no consequence to me. I build only the land yachts anyway, or cars that catch my eye, and build showroom stock. Keep doing your thing for you, not others. Only one you have to please is yourself !!! With YOUR build, only opinion that matters is YOURS !!!!

Guys, This thread is getting a bit fractious. I can see a moderator looming on the horizon!

OR... and this is only a suggestion because it seems all has been said, we could all just walk away now, let this thread die of old age, and build a model. :)
