Hi;

 Well, I was enjoying every single word of the mag even the H.O. scale Lettering in the truck article. But when I got to the very last page, I was glabberflasted .The founder of the Mag is Gone. I never met or talked with the man, but because of him I can't but help wonder how many hours of interesting and concise articles have appeared in this mag. Thank God He started it .May he Rest in Peace ! !

I too am so very appreciative of his work. I have been reading/subscribing off and on for decades.

I was lucky enough to know Gary and even saw his fabulous Mustang at the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals Car Show a couple of years ago. Gary even gave me a "test shot" of the '46-'48 Chevy Coupe he was producing for his Galaxie Models.............................................

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I appreciate everything he has done for this hobby, and he has had a huge impact on my own model building. Discovering the magazine around '80 or '81 was a very big moment for me, and such a positive influence. It would be very difficult to measure the impact he has had on the North American car model hobby.

R.I.P Gary. Thank You for everything.
