HO,

I used to attend this show every year and really enjoyed it, but I haven't been there for over 10 years.  Others have told me this show has most-recently been filled with vendors selling diecast cars and many other types of toys that are not model car kit related.

Have you been to this show recently, and if so, are those show descriptions accurate?  It's a 150-mile drive for me, and I'd need the show to be filled with model car kit vendors selling vintage kits to make it worth-my-while to make the long trip.

I usually attend this show twice a year, both in Feb. and in Sept. and always have a great time. There are vintage kits to be had as well as resin kits, bodies, aftermarket parts, air brush paints, chrome plating, service, kit parts, glue bombs, and of course newer kits as well.

Sure there are die cast cars there as well as Hot Wheels and also some military model kits as well. This show is and has been billed as a model car and toy show. It is a good hours ride for me each way and I'm always glad to attend. Of course I can always sit home instead, but that would get boring after awhile and I  wouldn't get to see the many friends I've made over the years as well as hunting for model kits and parts to buy also. Spotlight Hobbies will be vending there this Sunday with three tables full of newer kits, vintage kits, and parts. They always have good stuff on their tables. The choice is yours.

The show was great with all the vendor tables sold out, the aisles full of buyers with ca$h in hand, and something for everyone. I carried in a couple kits under my arm and sold them for what I wanted and got some great Hot Wheels for my grandson. Saw a LOT of people that I've known over the years and went out to the Tilted Kilt for lunch with my friends. I'm hopin' to make the one in Sept. as well as I enjoy that show.
