I am 41 years old. I was born in southern California. Lived there till I was 9. Then my family and I moved to Alabama. My dads side of the family is from there. Lived there for 3 years then moved back to California. I started building models off and on when I was somewhere around 7. Around 13 started to build consistenly. I like to build hot rods mostly. I like the Boyd Coddington look. So I do a lot of lowering. I don't have a preference in car. I like all the old classics. After graduating, I got married and went into a Tool and Die apprenticeship. I have 2 kids. Boy and a girl. After the 5 year apprenticeship I moved to Chicago. I lived there for 5 years. My wife was all done with the cold, so we moved back to California. We have been married now for almost 20 years. While living in Alabama, a cousin of mine introduced me to Jesus. I went to church with my cousin off and on. But at the age of 10/11ish, Jesus and the bible really didn't stick with me. There was a lot of violence in the home,a whole lot of instability and since my parents weren't living that kind of lifestyle, it just didn't stick. So building model cars was one of my avenues of escape. However , at 17, I thought there has to be a better way of living. So I picked up a bible and started reading it. I gave my life to Jesus and haven't looked back. One of my hero's is my wifes grandfather. He was an amazing man. He was in WW2 and the Korean war. He was in the army and, having been a ground soldier, he would often times tell me some of the horrific situations he was in. I would truly be at a loss for words. I now have a much deeper respect for all soldiers for what they have done and continue to do, and for the country we live in.
