About rbouque77

My earliest memory of modeling was with my dad, when I was about 5 years old. I loved the station wagons with the wood grain on the side, so one day he came home with a model kit of just that. We set up the TV tray and started to build, no paint, what struck me most was the smell of the Testor’s glue, to me a very pleasant smell (that may explain a lot).

I mostly build one or two cars a year. I probably start about 6 a year, I have a hard time finishing some of the kits. I am interested in hotrods and cars and trucks made prior to 1970. Like most of you modeling is therapeutic for me, and when you can’t afford the real thing – building them is sometimes just a good.
