Hey, I am an engineer for a large consumer outdoor power product company. I am not an engineer by degree, but have been doing it for the past 16 years. Before that I was in marketing (yuck!), so I am much happier now. I have also worked as an industrial designer and graphic designer.
I build models as a kid (as most of you also did), but got out of it in my teens when girls and 1:1 cars became the most important thing in the world! after I got married and had two kids I got back into building in my early thirties. Actually I had moved from SoCal to Nebraska for work and needed something to do during the long winter. So one day I happened into the model isle at a Hobby Lobby in Omaha, and my passion for model building was instantly reborn. That was in 1996. So for the last 19 yeas I have been building my "adult" collection. I mainly build hot rods and kustoms. Occasionally I will build something different, but not very often. I have 20 completed builds, and at least five in various stages at all times.
