About mfp508
I started building models around the age of 10. Built airplanes mostly right out of the box, no paint, just what the were molded in, and the decals in the kit. Most were really ugly, and ended up with bottle rockets taped to the wings so they would fly a distance before exploding. Built a few cars as an early teenager, then lost interest completely due to real cars, girls, etc..., wish I still had some of the kits I built back then. Got back into building about 10 years ago, and now am a full fledged stryeneohaulic again. I build mostly muscle cars, but am branching out to other car subjects, as well as having two model aircraft planned for the future. In June of '07, I built my first ship, an aircraft carrier. Boy, was that a serious undertaking. Built it for my dad so it had to be as exact as possible to what he remembered while he was stationed aboard the real thing.
